FDHMas in March

Here's me shilling again.

Any of the five of you who may read this screed from time to time probably know of this band I enjoy called Four Day Hombre. For my part, they've got three hooks. First, the music is great. Take a listen here. Second, I really do enjoy catching a band before they get big. They still play small shows, are humble and accessible and you can feel like you're in on a best kept secret type thing. These guys fit that bill very well. Lastly, the lead singer is a friend from years back. Salt of the earth and talented to the point of bothersome. Deserving of success. And you have to love it when you see friends do well.

With that said, Christmas for me is coming at the end of this month! It could be for you too, if you so choose to jump on the bandwagon. Four Day Hombre is crossing the pond for the first sortie of yet another potential British invasion. For us, this means two dates in Manhattan! Preceding that are multiple dates up north in Canada. Soon the Canadians will know what I've been talking aboot. Tour dates and information can be found here.

Locally, you can see FDH @ The Annex on March 27th at 9:00 p.m. (unconfirmed time). On March 28th, they will be playing an acoustic set @ Rockwood Music Hall around 11:00 p.m. (again, an unconfirmed time). That show actually starts at 9:00 p.m. I haven't a clue who else is appearing along side theses lads, but however bad (or good) the other groups might be, if you are anywhere in the vicinity of the five boroughs, do yourself a favor and come out to see the next big thing from Britain.

Oh, and I'll be there too. As will the Mrs., but no BFD. It'll be way past his bed time. Still, come meet the Bourgeois Deviants! (If that is actually added incentive for anyone out there in Blog land, I'll eat my hat.)
