Deborah Harry: Cooler Than I Thought

On the eve of her introduction into the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame, music superstar Deborah Harry of Blondie says that her "future will be in architecture and urban planning".

"If Deborah Harry was going to join a revolution these days, it would probably involve urban planning -- such as saving the rapidly gentrifying Lower East Side from itself.

'There's a lot of money here and people should be putting up buildings that mean something,' says Harry, looking as fashionable as ever, despite the early morning hour. 'The streets look like prisons. It's mind-boggling to me how people can be so short-sighted and greedy.
