I wish I could say what the title of the work is that the little girl was looking at, but I honestly don't remember. But the image was there, so I took it. In MoMA back in July '05.
Man, I hardly knew ye. Wow. Great photojournalism, Deviant. I'm impressed. Love the lunch photos. The hands say it all. There's a real "is-ness" (to borrow a HODELL phrase) in that pic.
Bour•geois n. 1. Of, relating to, or typical of the middle class. 2. Held to be preoccupied with respectability and material values. Deviant adj. 1. One that differs from a norm, especially a person whose behavior and attitudes differ from accepted social standards.
The BD explores the space between the status quo and what the BD considers "good" outside of it. Hopefully something posted here will make you think, change your mind or, best of all, enrage you. Call it an outlet.
